Not everyone is Workplace Productivity. You might be doing a hard work but still cannot be productive, you know why? Well, there are many things which you might be avoiding or you might be doing more. The main reason might be the interruption during the work.
Well, being more productive is not as harder as you think of. You should focus on some of the things to get more productive.
There are many things for the people not to do the mental slush works like answering the email or the things the things in the morning if you are the morning person. But if you are the one who likes doing work at night, it’s not going to work for you.
Tony Wong, the productive expert, says, “Use your morning to focus on yourself. Start your day out right by ignoring your emails in the morning and getting in a good breakfast, reading the news, meditating, or working out.
This will ensure you’ve got the necessary fuel for a productive day.” It means that you should do your most demanding tasks in your personal peak Workplace Productivity time no matter whenever it is.
Multitasking is the Workplace Productivity killer. According to the study, multitasking can reduce your productivity by 40% by the mental blocks. So if you are a multitasked, stop it right now. Try to be focused on one task and give it full attention.
Try to make it productive rather than focusing on several tasks at a time. When you start focusing on other topics, automatically your mind will be out of time and you will not be able to focus on the topic.
To-do list is one of the most important things for being Workplace Productivity. If you make a habit of making a to-do list, you can easily focus on the topic which you have planned for. In our opinion, everyone should use it.
Try making a to-do list before a day. It will not waste your time at the start of the workday. It can surely help you be more productive. Plan the things which you are going to do tomorrow and list it on your to-do list.
And making (or updating) a to-do list each night means that you won’t waste time at the start of the workday looking for your task. But using to-do lists is just getting out of the starter’s blocks when it comes to increasing productivity. If you want to really ramp up your production, there are two productivity hacks that will speed you to the finish line.
How many things do you mention on your to-do list? It might be ten or hundred. You will surely feel happy to complete those tasks at the targeted time, isn’t it? so, cut down your to-do list into parts. Suppose if there are eight tasks you have mentioned in your to-do list, can you do all of them at once? Of course not.
How many items are on your typical to-do list? Eight? Twenty-eight? No matter how many, you’ll feel good when you finish each of them and cross them off.
But you’ll never join the ranks of the productivity superstars unless you cross off some of them before you even bother to do them – because productivity demands focus. It will help you to focus on one topic.
Give more importance to the topic that is more necessary and tries to complete them first.
Don’t you think it will be nice to have the personal secretary to receive the phone calls? It will give you the helping hand.
Guess what? You don’t have to one. You can easily manage your phone calls yourself and it will be helpful to gain in productivity. First of all, if the phone calls you get are not much important, turn off your phone when you are at your work and focus on your project.
But if you are working on something that doesn’t need your full attention, you can leave your phone on and receive the calls. Or you can also make a fixed time for the phone calls.
If you get an important phone call, say them to call at the fixed time. It can be on the morning, day or at night, make a fixed time so you can easily focus on your project.
Last but not least; always take care of yourself at first. You can only make your projective if you are fit, isn’t it? Always get enough sleep and make a routine for the exercise. Eat a healthy diet and drink lots of water.
Avoid bad habits like smoking or hanging with the toxic people. And the most important thing is being nice to others as well as for you. You can be only more productive if you are healthy. so take care of yourself.
